"Time Goes By So Fast. Don't Let These Memories Slip Away."

About Me!

Hi! I'm Stephanie and I love photography.

I was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL, where at the ripe young age of 18 I joined the U.S. Navy. I was stationed in San Diego, CA for a good portion of my career before ending up over here on the East Coast in Moyock, NC where my family and I ended up planting roots.

I took up photography when my kids were involved in youth sports. Back in 2012, everything just blossomed—I was picked up by the local newspaper to photograph high school sports (football, swimming, track...you name it), as well as other events like graduations and weddings.

Around 2014 is when I started portrait photography too—a few family friends asked if I would photograph their kids for senior photos as well as graduation; they were so happy with the results that they started recommending me to friends who were getting married or having babies!  Now I travel all over the US capturing moments big and small for clients who appreciate the value of having beautiful photographs that they can look back on with fondness for years to come.

One memorable event came May 2021 when I was asked to travel to Alabama to photograph a wedding; it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life!

While photography is my full time job now, it doesn't feel like work at all! When people ask me what makes me tick...well...

Why hire a photographer?

While selfies sometimes can do the trick, there's nothing like having a professional capture your memories for you. It's easy to think that the memories will be preserved on your phone, but often times, when looking back, I sometimes recognize that I'm not in any of the memories. Hiring a photographer gives you a chance to be a part of the memories. You get to be in the moments with your loved ones, rather than separated from the moment by that small screen that fits in your pocket.
